Lauren & Dave's Wedding Stationery has such a special place in my heart. Working with Lauren felt like working with a friend. Lauren came to me with emphasis that she is a DETAILS girlie, and loved the idea of incorporating as many special detail touches throughout her wedding day as possible. So clearly Lauren was my kind of girl, as a stationery designer-details are my thing!
I had the absolute privilege of working with Lauren and Dave on their save the dates, wedding invitation suite & wedding day signage- completely curating and branding their wedding day. When we started designing Lauren's save the dates, we really wanted the design emphasis to be on their clean/ crisp/ fonts and whimsical textured handmade paper. We felt this would create the perfect tone to add the first "touch" to Lauren & Dave's Charlevoix, Michigan wedding.
Once we mailed out these gorgeous Save the Dates, Lauren and I immediately got to work planning out her wedding stationery suite. This suite is one of my favorites to date, simply because it featured so many personalized details, like their hand drawn wedding venue(s), custom drawn cherry blossom (Lauren's niece illustrated), custom envelope liner map of Michigan, gorgeous letterpress and mix of handmade paper, down to the custom monogrammed pearl wax seals.
Invites were sent, and with guests raving reviews we couldn't wait to get started on Lauren & Dave's wedding day prints. Our first matter of business, custom newspaper designed to be placed in guests welcome bags. These newspapers were so special that Lauren hired an expert from the newspaper to help her with the copy. We also worked hard at designing an envelope seating chart wall that featured custom notes to each guest, custom 4FT dog illustrated cut out signs, menus, table numbers, custom drink stirrers, cocktail napkins- the custom list goes on and on.
After all of our hard work, I am always so sad when client projects like this come to an end, but I am oh so happy to announce Lauren & Dave as a newly married couple!
